Farouk S'habou

Cellist, Manager and Music teacher. Musician, cellist, director and founder of the S'habou Music Academy, Farouk Shabou studied music at the Tunis Higher Institute of Music where he completed his postgraduate course in music and musicology. He worked as a cello, music theory, and conducting professor at the National Conservatory of Tunis. Founding member of the Quatuor Cadences, Farouk S'habou also plays with several orchestras in Tunisia and abroad (the Mediterranean Youth Orchestra, the Maghreb Philharmonic, etc.). S'habou Music Academy is a private academy dedicated to musical training in Tunis, the Ministry of Vocational Training and Employment of Tunisia. Its main mission is to provide highly specialized music education and vocational training of high level. Music study is organized in several courses from a core and many additional courses. Each course offers a rich and demanding education, enhanced by varied musical experiences that extend beyond the scope of the academy as concerts and partnership with other educational structures or cultural institutions.
